In 2026, Stevens Design & Build returned to the name Kevin built his reputation on. It is not a rebrand in the usual sense. It is a return to the identity that always represented this business best.
The team, the standards and the commitments stay exactly the same. Every existing contract, warranty and project continues without interruption. What changes is the name above the door, nothing about how we work with you.
Kevin developed a passion for design and construction from an early age, growing up with a family connection to building that stretches back to the 1980s. He studied at Thames Valley University, earning a BA (Hons) in 3D Design before beginning his career in 2007.
He began his professional career with a market-leading company serving mid-to-high-end residential clients. In 2012, he became Design and Sales Manager for a family-run kitchen and interiors business, leading both design and installation teams. In 2018, he established his own company, with Stevens Design Refurbishment & Build Ltd formally registered in 2019.
What makes Stevens Design & Build different is where it started. Most builders come off the tools and start a building company. Kevin started with design. The design thinking was never added on. It was always the foundation. Stevens Design & Build is the name Kevin has spent years building, and returning to it is not a change in direction.
It is a return to the identity that best represents this business: family-run, personally led and built on trust.

Stevens Design & Build is a design and build contractor that holds independent accreditation as a mark of trust, alongside the personal guarantee that comes from working directly with Kevin on every project.
Stevens Design & Build is a Federation of Master Builders accredited firm, independently assessed on quality, reliability and trading practices. Membership is earned through inspection and ongoing review, giving homeowners a genuine, third-party standard to measure us against. Our membership number is 149065. We have been members since 13 April 2026, with our last inspection on 7 April 2026, and accreditation valid until 31 March 2027.
