We visit your home, listen to your brief and give you an honest view of what is achievable. There is no obligation and no sales pitch, just a straightforward conversation about your project and what it could look like.
We assess layout possibilities, planning requirements and structural considerations for your project. Ideas become a clear, properly costed plan, giving you a solid, realistic foundation before any design work begins.
Our in-house team produces complete 2D plans and full 3D renders of your project. You see every room and every detail before anything is agreed.
Once the design is signed off, we produce a detailed fixed-price proposal covering every element of the build. The figure agreed at this stage does not change.
We coordinate every trade, every material and every stage of the build under one contract. Kevin is your single point of contact throughout.
On completion, we walk through every detail with you against the agreed design, room by room. Your project is handed back with a 12-month workmanship warranty.
How your project starts depends on where you are today. Either way, every design is fully visualised and agreed before we produce your fixed-price proposal.
We price from your existing plans and design your interiors as part of the project. No design fee is charged, and your design and specification are included as part of the full project scope, moving straight into a fixed-price proposal without any separate design stage or added cost.
We manage the full design process, from the initial brief through to complete 2D plans and 3D visualisation of the finished space. A design fee applies, which comes off your final bill if you proceed, and you own the design outright either way, whatever you decide once you have seen it. That is the deal, from the very first sketch.
PROJECT SCOPE

Every single-storey rear extension we build opens up ground-floor living, kitchen and dining spaces across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey and Oxfordshire.
A double storey extension adds space across two floors simultaneously, combining a ground-floor living area with an additional bedroom or bathroom above.
Most Stevens Design & Build projects start from around £60,000, with the average project value around £150,000. Every proposal is priced individually to your project.
