BESPOKE OUTDOOR LIVING
An outdoor kitchen earns its place when it becomes somewhere you spend evenings rather than somewhere you look at. That comes from designing the space first and building the kitchen into it. Where the prep space sits relative to the grill, how far the food travels to the table, which way the smoke drifts on a still evening, where the light falls once it goes dark. With running water, power, refrigeration and drainage designed in from the start, it stops being a garden feature and becomes the room everyone ends up in.
Where your project starts depends on where you are today. Either way, everything is fully visualised and agreed with you before we produce your proposal.
We work from your existing drawings, so you are not paying twice for work already done. Kevin reviews what you have and brings his full experience to it, designs the interiors and specification around it, and moves you towards a proposal sooner than a project starting from scratch.
Kevin starts from a conversation about how you want to live in the space, discusses your vision and what you want the finished home to feel like, then our team produces full 2D plans and 3D renders. You approve every room on screen before anything is costed or committed.

HOW IT WORKS
Every service follows the same six stages: a free design consultation, survey and feasibility, full 2D and 3D design, one fixed proposal, the build, then handover with a 12-month workmanship warranty. Nothing starts until you have seen it and said yes.

Yes, and that is the point of building it properly. Weatherproof cabinetry, frost-resistant stone and a covered structure mean it is usable through autumn and winter rather than for a few weeks a year.
Built-in grills, pizza ovens, teppanyaki plates, smokers, side burners and anything else you request. Whatever you want to cook on, we will design it in and build it around your lifestyle and preferences.
Yes, all designed in from the start. Adding services afterwards is far more disruptive and rarely as neat.
Usually not, though covered structures near a boundary can need it depending on size and height. Kevin will confirm what applies to your garden at the first visit.

Yes, and designing both together means the materials, cabinetry and equipment work as one.
Projects start from around £25,000 and rise with the structure, the equipment and the amount of groundwork and servicing involved. Kevin will give you a realistic range at the first visit.
Design and build take time, so autumn and winter enquiries are usually the ones ready to use by the following spring.

We engaged Kevin to design our kitchen five years ago as we wanted to swap two entire rooms, moving the kitchen to another location, which we knew would be beyond most designers as they are usually kitchens only. As an all round designer and project manager, we knew that Kevin would also be able to design a complementary room where the old kitchen was, taking the theme through into the second space.
